Proceeding further acknowledges acceptance of the following.
I agree to the following Terms and Conditions:
Member agrees to abide by National Credit Reporting's Membership Agreement and Service Contract and NCR's Addendum to the Service Agreement Contract, including but not limited to compliance with all applicable provisions of the Federal Fair Credit Reporting Act (including 15 U.S.C. SS 1681-1681t), Public Law 91-508, the Consumer Credit Reporting Agencies Act (California Civil Code SS 1785.1-1785.34), Vermont Fair Credit Reporting Act, Federal Equal Credit Opportunity Act, Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act and any amendments to them, all state law counterparts of them, and all applicable regulations promulgated under any of them including, without limitation, any provisions requiring adverse action notification to the consumer.
Member agrees to indemnify and hold National Credit Reporting and the credit agencies (Equifax, Experian, and TransUnion) harmless on account of any loss, injury, damage or claim that may result or stem from the information furnished to Member under and pursuant to the Membership Agreement and Service Contract, Addendum to the Service Agreement Contract or any other transaction under and pursuant to the Membership Agreement and Service Contract and Addendum to the Service Contract or of the Membership Contract and Service Contract and Addendum to the Service Contract or the Member's violation of any of the provisions contained in the Federal Fair Credit Reporting Act, the Consumer Credit Reporting Agencies Act or claims of its customers.
Member will not request background reports on himself/herself and/or family and/or friends. Member will only request reports for the permissible purpose of tenant screening.
Member will only request background reports after the applicant has provided written authorization to do so. Member will provide the signed applications to NCR, when requested.
Proceeding further acknowledges acceptance of the foregoing.
